Two day ‘Green Landscape Summit’ in Bangalore, India

Niek Roozen and Hanneke Roorda travelled to India in January to spread The Green City philosophy. He found “The Garden City” of Bangalore to be surprisingly green and full of trees. But the trees are being threatened by the rapid development of building and infrastructure in the city. Niek gave a lecture during the ‘Green Landscape Summit 2012’ and held a workshop, together with Agricultural Councellor Henk van Duijn, that was organized by the Horticultural Department of the city. The Technical University hosted a masterclass given by Niek for the Landscape Architecture department within the Architecture faculty.
