IGA 2003, Rostock
The Internationale Gartenschau 2003 was held in Rostock, Germany.
Commissioned by the Dutch government, we made the concept, design and realization of the Dutch entry to this exhibition. The theme for the entry is “Plants for People”. Important in the design is the coherence between the green inside and that in the garden.
The garden is sunken and inward-looking and is divided in two, by the all-green pavilion into a public green area and a private green area. The spatial structure, the routing, the colors and structures of the plantation created a very attractive and green entry
