Amazon Meetingpoint, Manaus

Drawing up a master plan for an educational theme park about the tropical rain forest of the Amazon river, near the city of Manaus in Brazil.

Amazon meeting point is an information center, where visitors can get acquainted with the flora and fauna of the largest contiguous rainforest in the world. Ecosystems, indigenous cultures are extensively explained. The area is located deep in the tropical rainforest, 100 km north of the city of Manaus.

A long wooden path connects the various components, such as museum, open-air theater, research center, restaurant and information center. It surrounds two small villages and fields, by a stream and a small lake.
