Giovanni Battista Ferrarese
Giovanni Battista started to develop his passion in landscape architecture at the end of the Agricultural studies in Perugia. Since then, during his studies he developed an interest in the historical continuity of landscape and understanding of how the environment works and what makes each place unique, its composition of natural and artificial materials as a blend of science and art, vision and thought.
He has a strong passion in the combination of research and design to strengthen his acknowledgement to guess how the landscape can be a benefit for all, to prevent unsustainable development and to ensure appropriate responses to the increasing urbanization, industrialization and pollution as climate change and globalization are contributing to social fragmentation, ecological imbalance and loss of cultural identity.
Giovanni Battista started working at Niek Roozen Landscape in 2021 and he likes to co-operate in processing sustainable visions and developing bespoke strategies that have a firm focus on the future of the environment and translate them into carefully planned realities at different scale levels.
