First steps in the construction of the park Bataafse Kamp, Hengelo, the Netherlands

This spring the first phase of the construction of the park Bataafse Kamp has started. Monumental trees will stay in the park and are being protected. Some existing trees are replanted to other locations in the city. Existing paths, the existing pond and some existing elements are removed to create space for the new design.

The art objects are getting a special place in the new park as well. The first concrete elements have been delivered to create an edge for the new pond. So the first steps have been made to realize a beautiful park for Hengelo and Twente!
